Technical Product Lead, Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Location: Oxford (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Technical Product Lead to lead the implementation of NoMuda VisualFactory, our new Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

About the MES platform
We recently commissioned NoMuda VisualFactory, and will start the initial configuration in the next few months.
This MES is central to our digital manufacturing strategy, and will drive the manufacturing of our sequencing products and chemicals. It will enable manufacturing process engineers to safely and consistently self-configure workflows while ensuring compliance with GAMP standards and seamless integration with internal systems.
The Technical Product Lead role
You be responsible for the initial configuration and ongoing performance of NoMuda VisualFactory as a self-service MES platform.
You will collaborate closely with NoMuda engineers, process leads and operators, Quality Assurance experts, regulatory stakeholders and internal software engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the initial configuration of the platform by NoMuda’s engineers and our own process leads
- Shape effective configuration patterns to enable process leads to autonomously create and update manufacturing processes
- Design & lead effective integration with key internal manufacturing & business systems, including govern integration patterns, data flows, and APIs
- Lead work to ensure the ongoing operational performance, security and compliance of NoMuda VisualFactory
Skills & Experience
Required experience
- Managing complex, process coordination platforms
- Working with agile software engineers
- Working directly with manufacturing SMEs and process engineers
- Working collaboratively with SaaS vendors
Required skills
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture & integrations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Desirable
Experience working with:
- Manufacturing systems in regulated environments
- Complex medical device, biologics, biopharma manufacturing or development
- NoMuda VisualFactory or similar low-code MES platforms
- Compliance standards such as GAMP, ISO 13485, or computer system validation (CSV) in medical device or life sciences environments
