The Regional Manager for Saudi Arabia (UK EFL) is a pivotal role responsible for driving the commercial success and market growth of the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) business unit within the Saudi Arabia region. This individual will be the product and commercial expert for our UK language study products, developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed regional revenue targets. The role encompasses business development and key account management in Saudi Arabia.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional business development and sales strategy for OIEG’s UK EFL products with a focus on Adult English opportunities
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the agent network, corporate clients, and direct-to-student channels.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs to inform product positioning and strategy.
  • Represent OIEG at key industry events, exhibitions, and agent workshops across Saudi Arabia.
Sales & Revenue Delivery:
  • Be ultimately responsible for achieving and exceeding regional sales targets and revenue goals for the UK EFL business unit.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts (agents and partners), ensuring strong, productive relationships and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation to final conversion and enrolment.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and sales support to the agent network and internal teams.
Product & Market Expertise:
  • Act as the in-region subject matter expert on the entire OIEG EFL product suite, including: Destinations: UK (London, Brighton, Oxford, Edinburgh) and Programmes: Year-Round Groups, Junior Programmes, Adult English etc. i.e. the full EFL portfolio.
  • Effectively communicate the unique selling propositions (USPs) of each school and programme, tailoring the message to the Saudi Arabia market.
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and localize marketing collateral, campaigns, and digital strategies tailored for the Saudi Arabia audience.
  • Liaise with products, admissions and operations teams at global destinations to ensure a smooth student journey from enquiry to arrival.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Provide regular, accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to the Regional Director for Middle East & Central Asia.
  • Work closely with Head of Language Sales, UK for market development
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market data to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the budget for business development activities.


Person Specifications

Legal status
  • Eligibility to live and work in Saudi Arabia
  • Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor graduates
Experience and knowledge
  • Experience of working within international student recruitment within Saudi Arabia
  • Candidates in being a study abroad agent are welcomed.
  • Overseas higher education background (UK preferable)
  • Having a EFL agents’ network connections will be an advantage.
