Kitter/Assembler
Position Summary
The Kitter/Assembler is responsible for preparing and assembling materials needed to meet daily production schedules. This role supports manufacturing operations by performing a variety of kitting and sub-assembly tasks, including measuring, cutting, fastening, tying, and other pre-sewing production activities.
Essential Functions
Work closely with the Department Supervisor to complete all kitting operations.
Prepare work orders according to daily production schedules.
Perform sub-assembly operations using a variety of materials and equipment.
Measure materials accurately to within 1/8 inch.
Operate light-duty production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
Measure and tie bungee cords.
Perform bartacking and other basic sewing-related functions.
Assemble components using materials such as
Velcro
Webbing
Elastic
Buckles
Grommets
Key Responsibilities
Produce quality work that meets established standards and production schedules.
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and products for quality compliance.
Follow approved work instructions and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist in other departments and areas as needed.
Work overtime when business needs require additional support.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Preferred
Sewing or textile manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a production or assembly environment.

Kick Presses
Label Machine

Bartack Machines
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
