Introduction – the ‘why’ 
 
This role supports the smooth delivery of boosted journals marketing activity by completing routine tasks and providing administrative and operational support to the team. Working under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the role helps ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time, maintains essential marketing data and assets, and contributes to the consistency and quality of our boosted journals marketing service. 

Opportunity – the ‘what’ 

In this role, you will: 
• Implement marketing activity supporting the boosted journals marketing service designed to drive journal brand awareness and submissions growth. 
• Execute content marketing, social media, digital advertising, web page creation and maintenance, copy writing, and event management. 
• Work with Marketing Shared Services and Operations to execute campaigns accurately and on time. 
• Support internal and external communications. 
• Develop understanding of academic journals, open access, researcher needs, and scholarly publishing. 
• Align audience, message and channel to deliver effective campaigns. 
• Maintain playbooks, best practice guides and marketing tools. 
• Collaborate with marketing colleagues and identify continuous improvement opportunities. 
• Track campaign success and provide reporting support. 
 
Impact of the role: 
• Contributes to successful delivery of boosted journals marketing campaigns and submission growth. 
• Supports team goals through campaign performance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
