Under general supervision, supports classroom-based and technology-enabled training programs for clinical and operational staff. Assists with training center operations, facilitates hands-on learning activities, provides end-user support for electronic medical record (EMR) applications, and participates in usability testing and optimization initiatives. Serves as a resource for learners during orientation and training programs, ensuring completion of required educational activities and supporting adoption of healthcare technologies.
Essential Functions
- Assist with the daily operations of the training center and support training program logistics.
- Proctor nursing and clinical classroom sessions to ensure completion of assigned role-based training requirements, including interactive eLearning modules, playground exercises, infusion pump activities, and MyChart Bedside training.
- Provide guidance and support to learners during hands-on training exercises and classroom activities.
- Monitor learner progress and escalate training concerns or technical issues as appropriate.
- Assist with validating training completion and maintaining training records.
- Support usability testing activities for new technologies, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Document testing results, issues, and recommendations for review by project and operational teams.
- Provide first-level technology troubleshooting and assistance within the training environment.
- Respond to general EMR and application-related questions from end users and learners.
- Assist with training material preparation, classroom setup, equipment readiness, and technology maintenance.
- Support optimization initiatives by gathering feedback from end users and identifying opportunities to improve workflows and user experience.
- Collaborate with trainers and informatics teams to ensure successful training delivery and adoption of healthcare technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems.
- Healthcare, informatics, education, training, or clinical experience.
- Experience facilitating classroom activities or supporting adult learners.
- Experience with usability testing, workflow analysis, or technology implementation projects.
