This position is located in Putnam County.

Ohio State University Extension is seeking a motivated and community-focused individual to serve as a Program Assistant in Putnam County. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth, families, volunteers, and community members through educational programming, leadership development, and community engagement. The Program Assistant works collaboratively with the Putnam County 4-H and Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Educators, Extension staff, volunteers, advisory committees, schools, and community partners to support and enhance Extension programming throughout the county. This dynamic position combines youth development, event coordination, communications, program support, and office operations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Pay Range Statement: The pay range for this job profile is $16.65- $21.77 hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
