JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Radiologic Technologist produces patient x-rays and reports results to our physician team, ensuring that the procedure produces quality images for the physician to make an accurate diagnosis. The Radiologic Technologist may assist with coordinating outpatient appointments, makes patients who come in for procedures to feel as comfortable as possible, and conducts patient imaging procedures. This position will be travel between all 12 locations within the Houston area.
Essential Functions

Utilize all radiographic equipment to perform x-ray procedures, including (but not limited to) surgical and portable equipment
Assist with taking patient phone calls to answer technical questions, schedule appointments and offer pre-procedure advice
Develop a daily priority list that allows all scheduled procedures to be completed
Monitor all radiographic supplies and submit purchasing requests to maintain proper supply levels
Review for quality and report x-ray results to our physician team
Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, physicians, patients, and any other individuals that may be encountered during the course of conducting business
Other duties may be assigned as needed

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some patient positioning and position manipulation is required. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for some filing. This will require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience
Must possess a valid and current state license
2+ years’ experience in a clinical care setting
Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance
