๐Ÿšถ‍โ™‚๏ธ Position Summary

As a Patient Transporter, you’ll play a vital role in the patient experience—ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transport throughout the hospital.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to move patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a clean and safe environment.


๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities

  • ๐Ÿฅ Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
  • ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Assist patients on/off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs
  • ๐Ÿงผ Clean and disinfect transport equipment before & after use
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ Transport charts, lab specimens, and medications (non-controlled)
  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams
  • โฑ๏ธ Meet productivity and service standards
  • โš ๏ธ Maintain safety standards and proper equipment storage
  • ๐Ÿ’ป Use Epic Transport Dispatch system efficiently
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
  • ๐Ÿค Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

๐ŸŒŸ What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service skills ๐Ÿ˜Š
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Basic computer skills (Epic, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

๐ŸŽ“ Requirements

  • ๐Ÿ“– Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
  • ๐Ÿ’ป Ability to use hospital systems and technology
  • ๐Ÿฉบ BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)

๐Ÿ’ผ Preferred Experience

  • 6 months of customer service OR
  • 6 months of volunteer experience
