  • Assist with crane assembly, maintenance, greasing, oiling, and fueling.
  • Work closely with Drillers, Barge Foremen, Signal Persons, Riggers, Welders, and Laborers.
  • Stop work immediately whenever conditions become unsafe.

What You Must Bring

  • Current CCO Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) certification
  • At least two years of crane-operating experience on land and barges
  • Documented drilling, drilled-shaft, casing, auger, or marine foundation experience
  • Experience reading load charts and working with construction rigging
  • Knowledge of diesel, air, hydraulic, and drop pile hammers
  • Current, valid U.S. passport required for travel to and from The Bahamas
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet all Company and project requirements for working in The Bahamas
  • Ability to pass required crane evaluations, physical examinations, drug screening, background screening, and safety training

Experience operating Manitowoc, Liebherr, Link-Belt, Kobelco, Terex, or similar crawler cranes is strongly preferred.

Physical and Safety Requirements

Candidates must be able to work outdoors in marine construction conditions; climb ladders; access barges, vessels, and docks; work at elevated heights or in confined spaces; and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Every Orion employee is responsible for personal safety and the safety of the crew. Crane Operators are authorized and expected to stop work whenever an unsafe condition is observed.
