About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Asset Information Specialist to join our Yarwun Manufacturing site in Gladstone. 

 

In this role, you will act as the single point of authority for engineering information and drawing governance, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and optimisation of asset information systems and engineering records across the site.  

 

You’ll also benefit from a 9-day fortnight roster, giving you every second Friday off—so you can enjoy regular long weekends, recharge, and maintain a great work-life balance, all while working full-time hours.

What you will be doing

 

  • Lead the site’s engineering drawing management system, standards, and governance framework;
  • Deliver accurate mechanical and structural drawings while ensuring quality and compliance;
  • Manage drafting workflows and external drafting partners to support site projects and operations;
  • Perform site verification activities, including laser scanning, point cloud management, and field measurements;
  • Improve engineering information management and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.

What you will bring

 

  • Experience in engineering drafting, drawing control, and information management;
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, Vault, or similar engineering software;
  • Ability to review and maintain accurate mechanical and structural drawings;
  • Experience with site measurements, laser scanning, and point cloud technologies;
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
