Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for System Safety Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus.
📍 Locations include Manching and other sites across the country.

What you will do
Conduct FHA, SSA, Risk Analyses and Common Cause Analyses (PRA, ZSA, CMA) for military aircraft and systems, supporting development and certification activities.
Define and manage Safety Requirements, Safety Evidence, Safety Procedures and operational limitations, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Support aircraft/system architecture development to ensure compliance with required Safety and Integrity levels.
Interface with key stakeholders including Engineering, Project Management, Design Teams, Airworthiness Authorities, Customers, Suppliers and industrial partners.
Review, approve and apply Safety and Reliability data provided by suppliers.
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Aerospace or a related field
Relevant hands-on experience in safety analyses, airworthiness, certification and risk assessment.
B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.
B1/B2 German Level – is a plus.
Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
