Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for XX Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

What you will do

• Analyze and define requirements for Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight Guidance functions.

• Develop FMS, Flight Guidance, and trajectory generation capabilities.

• Contribute to formation flying and swarming solutions for advanced aircraft and RPAS.

• Plan and coordinate Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the system development lifecycle.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace, aviation, or defense.

• Knowledge of Flight Management Systems, Flight Guidance, and navigation principles.

• Experience with requirements engineering and system development processes.

• Familiarity with Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.

• Knowledge of UAS/RPAS and MBSE is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Fluent English; German is an advantage.

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
