Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Human Factors & Certification Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Manching, Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus.

🚀 The Role in Context

You will be at the forefront of making complex aerospace systems intuitive, safe, and usable for pilots, operators and maintenance personnel. Your HFE expertise will contribute to:

• Next-generation combat aircraft - cockpit interfaces and mission management systems

• Defence & security systems - operator control stations and situational awareness interfaces

• Safety-critical applications - where usability and safety are mission-critical

• Compliance with aerospace and defence standards

What you will do

• Design, develop, validate and verify Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)

• Apply Human Factors Engineering methods and processes

• Support certification activities for civil and military programmes

• Take ownership of technical work packages

What we're looking for

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field

• Experience in HMI design, development, V&V and Human Factors Engineering

• English B2/C1 (mandatory)

• German B1/B2 (nice to have)

• EU citizenship
