Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Functional Electrical Design Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

📍 Locations include Manching, Hamburg, Donauwörth, Immenstaad and other sites across the country.

What you will do
  • Design of circuit diagrams and wiring schematics

  • Selection and specification of electrical components

  • Creation of technical documentation (drawings, BOMs)

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for system integration

  • Support in design reviews, error analysis, and improvements

  • Ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements

What we’re looking for:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Design or a related field

  • Relevant hands-on experience in electrical design and wiring diagrams

  • B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.

  • B1/B2 German Level – mandatory.

  • Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
