About the role

Job Overview
As a Senior Technical Leader within the Orange Business Cloud Perimeter, you will be responsible for leading the design, management, and optimization of cloud and IT infrastructure solutions for our customers. You will oversee complex projects, mentor technical teams, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud services aligned with Orange’s strategic goals.

About you

Skill Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive, relevant IT experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing LAN and WAN network architectures.
  • Experience in managing cloud systems administration, including VMware and Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with backup technologies such as NetBackup, Networker, or Veeam.
  • Automation experience through Bash scripting or automation tools like Ansible is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with server operating systems (Windows, Enterprise Linux RHEL/OEL, VMware ESXi, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Some project-based travel may be required.
  • Excellent documentation skills in both French and English.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee system engineering and architecture specifications for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Lead, manage, and maintain hardware and software environments.
  • Drive key organizational IT infrastructure initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach IT System Administrators, guiding technical decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop project scope, implementation plans, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely delivery and optimal solutions.
  • Provide expertise in designing system performance attributes such as availability, scalability, recoverability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement and enhance disaster recovery, information security, and control frameworks.
  • Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures based on organizational needs, trends, and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, provide updates to senior management, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and enforce methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OBS standards and best practices.
  • Ensure documentation and processes meet audit and organizational requirements.
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs); serve as escalation point for critical issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain cost-effective, high-quality services.
  • Foster productive relationships with business and IT colleagues.
  • Promote and embody the OBS vision.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Lead staff training and development, promoting engagement and career growth.
  • Ensure high levels of employee motivation and responsibility.
