About the role

The Change Process Owner is responsible for establishing, owning, and maintaining the Change Enablement process across MSS Engine. The primary goal is to ensure effective, consistent, and measurable handling of changes, delivering maximum value from the Change Enablement process. This role focuses on process governance, service quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the Change Process Owner defines and implements Change Performance Monitoring through clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track the health, quality, and effectiveness of Change Enablement. The role acts as the central spokesperson and single point of contact for Change Enablement within MSS Engine.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the Change Enablement process across MSS Engine.
  • Define and uphold the governance model for Change Enablement.
  • Ensure that Change Enablement process requirements are accurately translated into operational procedures and controls.
  • Establish and maintain SLA, KPI, and reporting requirements for Change Enablement.
  • Ensure alignment between Change Enablement and related processes such as Incident Management and Problem Management.
  • Serve as the central spokesperson and single point of contact for Change Enablement within MSS Engine.

Tactical/Operational Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage performance related to Change Enablement.
  • Define, maintain, and report on Change Enablement KPIs and SLAs.
  • Generate reports on Change Enablement activities, performance, and compliance.
  • Identify systemic performance issues and areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous process improvements for Change Enablement.
  • Monitor process adherence, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure operational teams align with Change Enablement process requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Incident Process Owner, Problem Process Owner, and all operational managers within MSS Engine.

Supervisory Requirements

  • The role does not include direct reports; however, as a member of the MSS Engine team, the Change Process Owner is expected to contribute to mentoring junior staff, trainees, and apprentices as needed.

In addition to individual objectives set by the Head of Operational Excellence and reviewed during performance evaluations, the role’s KPIs include:

  • Change SLA Compliance
  • Change KPI Performance Index
  • Change Reporting Quality and Timeliness
  • Change Process Adherence Rate
  • Delivery of Change Process Improvements
About you

Skills & Experience

The Change Process Owner should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Office Tool Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Reporting Skills: Experience with Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools.
  • Broad and Out-of-the-Box Thinking: Ability to approach challenges creatively and innovatively.
  • Experience in Alignment Initiatives and Lean Management: Familiarity with process alignment and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Team Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Recommendations for Improvement: Experience in identifying and proposing process enhancements.
  • Framework Development: Skilled in developing frameworks for collaboration and reporting.
  • Change Enablement & Service Operations: Strong understanding of Change Enablement processes and operational practices.
  • SLA & KPI Management: Experience in defining, managing, and monitoring SLAs and KPIs.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities

Information Security

  • As with all roles within MSS Engine, the Change Process Owner must comply with the current Information Security policies and procedures.

Data Protection

  • The role requires adherence to existing Data Protection policies and procedures.

Location, Travel, and Working Hours

  • The position is based in Cairo.
  • Standard working hours are expected.

Reporting

  • The role reports directly to the Head of Operational Excellence.
