What You'll Do

As our Front Desk Coordinator, you'll be the first impression of our practice and an essential part of creating an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include

Greeting every patient with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting patients with scheduling appointments.
Checking patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Creating and updating patient accounts.
Collecting patient payments.
Coordinating surgery schedules and ensuring appointments are prepared correctly.
Communicating with referring offices and other healthcare providers.
Keeping the front office organized while balancing multiple priorities throughout the day.
Supporting teammates wherever needed to keep the office running smoothly.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred

Experience in oral surgery, dental, or medical offices.
Experience scheduling patients and working with electronic health records.

This position requires extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, and computer work. Oral Surgery Associates of North Texas has a team of four oral surgeons.
Dr. Colin S. Bell, Dr. Douglas J. Dingwerth, Dr. Maxwell D. Finn and Dr. William R. Walstad work closely together to provide the utmost quality care and well-being of our patients.

Oral Surgery Associates of North Texas, practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, our doctors manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
