Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robotic, and automation systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
⢠Coordinate technical activities related to PLC hardware, software, ladder logic, and automation interfaces.
⢠Develop, modify, and optimize automation programs to improve operational performance and repeatability.
⢠Provide technical leadership and support to maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair activities.
⢠Train maintenance and operational personnel on automation systems, robotics, and PLC equipment.
⢠Maintain accurate records of PLC software revisions, robotic programs, documentation, and electrical schematics.
⢠Lead automation-related continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
⢠Coordinate modifications and installation of new automation and robotic systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
⢠Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
⢠Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend solutions that improve productivity, reliability, and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
⢠Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, including PLC-500 and ControlLogix systems.
⢠Experience with HMI software such as RSLogix, Wonderware, and PanelView.
⢠Experience supporting industrial robotic systems, preferably Fanuc, ABB, and/or KUKA.
⢠Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics.
⢠Experience with Siemens S5 and S7 PLC systems preferred.
⢠Knowledge of industrial communication networks including ControlNet, Modbus, and Profibus.
⢠Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
⢠Strong PC proficiency and technical documentation skills.
⢠English proficiency sufficient to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
