As a Cloud Applications Developer you will join an industry-leading organization and be engaged in the full-cycle development of the most advanced products and services solutions.You will have the opportunity to work with a global product team for software debugging, development, and release management during the full product lifecycle. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Maintain existing instances, setting up monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patch upgrades, major upgrades, client migrations and various other tasks necessary for supporting OpenText SaaS clients. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
  • The primary product lines that the Cloud Applications Developer supports are PPM.
  • The Cloud Applications Developer is responsible for establishing work environments for the OpenText SaaS clients along with debugging and investigating problems and failures within the environments, which include web application servers, infrastructure & database components to a certain extent.
  • The Cloud Applications Developer interfaces with DBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, Client Managers, and clients to handle multiple ongoing activities.
  • Identify and document repeatable demand activities and support Tier 2 Support, Onboarding Team and other teams who will execute them. Provide technical feedback to Product Marketing and R&D and assist Tier 2 Support and Onboarding Team by providing technical and clients domain expertise.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Over 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Well versed in all aspects of administrating PPM across multiple platforms/installations.
  • Able to advise on and influence clients to follow Best Practices and methodologies.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems in distributed web applications.
  • Able to support clients through long upgrade processes.
  • Strong technical expertise in networking, databases, AWS, Linux, and application support, with deep knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL and containerization technologies.
  • Automation and modern IT skills including Jenkins, Python, Ansible, Bash scripting, and AI, with ITIL certification considered an advantage.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range:$98,080 -$147,120; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
