YOUR IMPACT

As an FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate, timely, and actionable financial support to OpenText's digital business. This is an individual contributor role, where you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting to deliver insights that support informed operational and investment decisions. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Consolidate, validate, and report P&L performance, including operating expense and headcount variance analysis, while providing clear and actionable financial commentary.
  • Partner with business leaders to support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and ongoing financial performance management activities.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, and financial analyses that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to develop recommendations, perform scenario planning, evaluate investments, and identify business opportunities.
  • Gather, integrate, and interpret information from multiple systems and reporting tools to provide meaningful insights and enhance financial visibility.
  • Collaborate with finance and business partners across a diverse portfolio to identify risks, opportunities, performance trends, and key business drivers.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, financial planning capabilities, and overall business support.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and support special projects that contribute to strategic business priorities and organizational growth.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance, preferably within FP&A, including experience partnering closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA designation or CPA candidacy is considered an asset.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems, ERP reporting tools, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen and sound judgment, with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive high-value initiatives to completion.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, navigating ambiguity, and supporting multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting.
  • Technology or telecommunications industry experience is preferred.
  • Proven commitment to process improvement, automation, and continuous innovation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $86,800 - $130,200; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
