Overview
HIRING RANGE $110,685 - $118,114
Under the direction of the Director, the Analyst will provide technical services to design/support the day-to-day operation of the IT systems including the networks, business applications, backup, office365, Azure Cloud, Security, and hardware/software server platform. This position is responsible for supporting the disaster recovery plan to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, Office365, Azure MS-Teams, SharePoint, and Endpoint Manager environments.
- Conduct performance monitoring and tuning.
- Maintain server room physical environment to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintain key Business Applications for optimal operational system support.
- Apply software development lifecycle, change management, and programming best practices when supporting, enhancing, integrating, or troubleshooting business applications, including Workday or similar enterprise platforms.
- Understand network switches, firewalls, Antivirus, and wireless environment.
- Understand Internet circuits, SDWAN, VPN & Application Gateway environment.
- Design and execute the DR/BC to keep business operational during a disaster.
- Research user technical requirements and new products for Azure cloud, security, office365, network, web, database applications, back-up, and file distribution providing recommendations to Management.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Information Management, or related discipline.
- 4 years’ experience in Information Technology working with servers, Azure cloud, Office365, network, security, business applications, project, and vendor management. Experience in applying software development lifecycle best practices, programming best practices, and supporting enterprise application implementations or integrations is required.
- Preferrred: 5 years’ progressive Information Technology experience working with servers, Azure cloud, network, security, business applications, project and vendor management in a regulated industry or public utility setting. Experience with Workday implementation, configuration, integration, testing, or ongoing support would be considered an asset.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint.
- Certification in vendor installed products would be an asset
