VP of Marketing - Corporate

Vancouver Corporate Office · On-siteCA$160k – CA$200k

About this role

Job Description:

The Vice President of Marketing - Corporate is a newly elevated, highly visible leadership role responsible for unifying and elevating marketing across every line of business: residential sales and rental leasing, hotels and extended-stay, restaurants, retail/small-business tenant marketing, and the corporate brand. This is an unusual mandate — most companies of comparable scale split marketing leadership by division (a separate hospitality marketing team, a separate residential team, a separate restaurant group). We are deliberately building a single, centralized function so that every guest, resident, buyer, tenant, and diner experiences one consistent, best-in-class brand.

The ideal candidate has deep hospitality marketing instincts — an understanding of guest experience, loyalty, F&B promotion, and the fast pace of hospitality content — paired with fluency in real estate marketing and a genuine command of modern marketing technology: AI-assisted content and copy tools, AI image and video generation, paid and organic social strategy, YouTube and short-form video, and marketing automation/CRM platforms. This person will build and lead a team of divisional marketing directors, set brand and creative standards across the portfolio, and personally champion the adoption of AI and emerging tools to keep the company ahead of competitors that are still marketing the old way.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Comprehensive benefits package that provides extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance and critical illness.

  • Continuous learning opportunities with an annual educational allowance.

  • Generous referral program raging from $500-$2500, depending on business need.

  • Regular consistent team building activities and events.

  • Discounts to local amenities and vendors

  • Discounted hotel stays in multiple locations through our Hospitality offerings.

What Will You Do?

Strategic & Brand Leadership

  • Own the overarching corporate brand strategy and ensure visual, verbal, and experiential consistency across condos, rentals, hotels, extended stay, restaurants, retail, and corporate communications.

  • Build a unified marketing organization from what has historically been divisional/siloed marketing efforts, establishing shared brand standards, creative resources, and reporting across all business lines.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on brand positioning, market perception, competitive dynamics, and reputation management.

  • Develop and manage the enterprise marketing budget, allocating investment across divisions based on business priorities and ROI.

Marketing Technology & Innovation

  • Champion the adoption of AI tools across the marketing function — generative AI for copy and content ideation, AI image and video generation for campaign and social assets, and AI-assisted personalization/targeting.

  • Own social media strategy and execution across all platforms, with particular emphasis on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok/short-form video for hospitality, F&B, and lifestyle storytelling.

  • Evaluate and implement modern martech: CRM and marketing automation, content management, digital asset management, and analytics/attribution platforms.

  • Build an internal content engine capable of producing high volumes of on-brand photo, video, and written content efficiently using AI-assisted production workflows.

  • Stay ahead of emerging platforms and formats, piloting new channels and tools before competitors and reporting back on performance.

Team Leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and manage a team of divisional marketing directors/managers (residential, hospitality/F&B, brand & creative, digital/social/AI content, marketing operations & CRM).

  • Set clear KPIs and performance standards for each division while maintaining a cohesive, collaborative team culture across disciplines.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelance creative talent, media buyers, and technology vendors.

What You Will Bring:

Required

  • Progressive marketing leadership experience, including significant experience in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant/F&B marketing.

  • Proven track record building or leading marketing functions spanning multiple, distinct business lines or brands.

  • Hands-on fluency with AI content and image/video generation tools (e.g., generative AI copywriting tools, AI image/video generators) and a demonstrated point of view on how to use them responsibly and effectively in brand marketing.

  • Strong command of paid and organic social media strategy, YouTube/video content strategy, and modern digital marketing channels.

  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets across several business units.

  • Exceptional brand storytelling instincts balanced with data-driven decision-making.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred

  • Experience in real estate development or residential sales/leasing marketing in addition to hospitality.

  • Experience unifying previously siloed marketing teams into a single, centralized function.

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms commonly used in real estate and hospitality (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, property/hotel-specific CRM systems).

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
