Essential Duties:

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
  • Communicates with logistics technicians, customer services representatives, service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Maintains a clean and tidy delivery system
  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts receivables
  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily inventory
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Serves as backup for Facility Coordinator in their absence
  • Assists with contractor coordination and support activities, including site access, and ensuring compliance with facility and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ relevant experience
    • Prior forklift operating experience required
  • LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: DOT and IATA Certifications for dangerous goods shipping
  • OTHER:
    • Available on an on-call basis to respond to urgent facility, operational, and logistical needs outside of regular business hours.
    • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
