PART TIME Fitness Desk Attendant
Overview:
As a Fitness Desk Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our fitness center. You will assist members and guests with inquiries, oversee facility cleanliness and organization, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere conducive to a positive fitness experience.
Responsibilities:
- Know and greet members by name.
- Registering member/guests by last name first, first name last and always get proper billing information, requests and gender preference.
- Maintain cleanliness of locker room and wet areas throughout am and pm shifts.
- Assist in keeping all Fitness/Tennis storage space clean and organized.
- Review communication logbook at the start of each shift. Record information regarding member/guest issues, housekeeping, engineering, pools, hot tubs and steam rooms to shift supervisor/manager.
- Complete and initial all opening and closing checklist and turn into shift supervisor/manager.
- Know current hours of operation for the following areas: Fitness, Spa Salon, Kid's Club, Spa Shop, Coffee Market, Aquatics, Tennis and Pool Cabana.
Qualifications:
- 6 months’ experience and training in similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry.
- It is helpful to have some computer experience as well as MICROS experience.
- Must have excellent phone skills.
- The Associate is often required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Ability moderate weight.
