Minimum Qualifications:

 

Social Services Specialist I

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in professional social work for each year of the required education.

Social Services Specialist II

  • A Master's degree;
  • OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in professional social work;
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and social work, substituting one year of professional social work for each year of the required education.  

 

Job Responsibilities

  

  • This position with the Provider Relations Department within the ADvantage Waiver of the Medicaid Services Unit is a hybrid in-person/telework position depending on the location of the applicant. The candidate will need to provide a high-speed internet connection (not a hot spot) to work remotely. If the candidate cannot maintain connectivity, they will be required to work from an OKDHS office.
  • This position will manage and process newly assigned Member cases in the electronic database (Harmony) using the daily assignment report, ensuring compliance with ADvantage Waiver program requirements, with attention to detail.
  • Maintains familiarity with Harmony and ICE systems for completion of job duties. Provides support for overflow workload across ADvantage operations as assigned, assisting other functional areas as needed to ensure operational efficiency and continuity of service. It requires the use of several state database systems to coordinate communications.
  • The ideal candidate will have existing familiarity with these systems and/or be a fast learner on systems of this type.
    This position will be completing new Member case processing, including:
     
    • Provider Question Support (Harmony system)
    • Submit Help Desk tickets requesting additional information or support 
    • Maintain a high level of customer service
    • Maintain a high level of professional communication within MSU while using MS Teams

    Preference may be given to applicants with previous experience with ADvantage Program and/or the Harmony system.

    NECESSARY CONNECTIVITY
    Must be able to frequently lift up to 15 lbs for transporting computer.
    Must have stable and reliable home internet (high-speed and not a hotspot) for telework or will be required to work in the office.
