Systems Engineer Satellite Oprations (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
As Space Craft Operations Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of the Mission Operations Team for a LEO earth observation satellite.
Your tasks and responsibilities during the commissioning and operations preparation phase are:
- Participation in system commissioning activities (End-to-end system commissioning, operational qualification)
Your tasks and responsibilities during the routine operations phase:
- Satellite mission scheduling
- Operations center monitoring
- Operational, contingency and maintenance tasks related to mission timeline generation, TC generation and uplink
- Coordination with other areas of operation
- Support to contingency/emergency troubleshooting
- Writing, editing and control of ground operational procedures
- Writing and issuing of periodic reports to the customer
Your Qualifications
- Engineering or technical discipline degree or equivalent
- Experience as mission planning engineer / satellite operator/ spacecraft engineer
- Experience in performance evaluation, satellite data analysis
- English fluently (spoken and written)
- Willingness to live and work in Luxembourg
