We are currently looking for an experienced Yard/Camp Maintenance Worker to join our team on a temporary basis for approximately 30 to 90 days. This is a hands-on position responsible for inspecting and maintaining camp buildings and units, completing repairs as required, and preparing units for storage.
The successful candidate will have practical experience in building and facility maintenance and be comfortable completing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks independently. A Journeyperson certification is not required.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect camp buildings, units, and related facilities and identify repairs or maintenance required.
Complete general building repairs and preventative maintenance.
Prepare camp units for storage.
Perform basic carpentry and building repair work.
Repair and maintain siding, windows, and doors.
Complete minor EPDM roofing repairs.
Perform flooring repairs and replacement as required.
Complete basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
Perform minor electrical maintenance within the scope of the position.
Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance materials, tools, and supplies.
Identify required materials and coordinate maintenance needs to keep work progressing efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow company safety procedures and safe work practices.
Perform other yard and camp maintenance duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience with industrial camp buildings, modular buildings, or similar facilities is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in general building and facility maintenance.
Hands-on experience with carpentry, siding, windows and doors, flooring, plumbing, and general repairs.
Experience with EPDM roofing is considered an asset.
Basic electrical maintenance experience is considered an asset.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and inventory control skills.
Ability to assess maintenance requirements and make practical day-to-day decisions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically capable of performing manual work, including lifting, bending, and working indoors and outdoors.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence is required.
Journeyperson certification is not required.
