About this role

We are looking for a Temporary Supply Chain Coordinator for our Westbury facility. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain. This role supports procurement, inventory management, logistics, production planning, and supplier communication to ensure products are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

 

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate the flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory replenishment planning.
  • Create and track purchase orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery performance.
  • Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions and delays.
  • Support production and demand planning activities.
  • Escalate supply chain issues, delays, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field or 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Attention to detail and accuracy.

For individuals assigned, hired to work or working remotely in/out of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Nevada, Washington State, or New York, Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $31.00 to $39.00 per hour. Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range.
