For our base in
Coevorden, we are seeking an experienced Business Controller to join our team
in a full-time position.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
At least 5 years relevant experience in accounting/finance/ controlling roles
Good business understanding, preferably experience within Oil and Gas industry.
Good knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements/ Dutch fiscal laws and regulations
Commercial mindset
Experience of ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written
Competencies
Provide business support to local organization on Finance related tasks.
Coordinate local invoicing, AP, AR, and Administration processes to ensure timely delivery of financial-accounting tasks and business support, as required.
Play a crucial part in ensuring seamless coordination and communication between Finance and Operational management.
Maintain a good cooperation and communication level with all relevant parties within GBS, Business Areas, Corporate functions, and external client to secure quality and completeness in financial statements and reports.
Support on cost control measures, annual budget process, month-end/ year-end close.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within both finance and operational functions and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with local requirements on Finance related topics and assist in communication with local Tax Authorities, Auditors, Banks
Ad-hoc requests from Finance Manager, VP Finance, Area Manager
