 We are recruiting on behalf of Kaseum Technology Ltd.  They are looking to recruit an experienced Assembly / Mechanical Technician to join their team in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly, testing, maintenance and preparation of specialist downhole tools and associated equipment, supporting both new-build and rental operations. 

The Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assemble and disassemble Kaseum downhole tools and associated equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and procedures.
- Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance and redress of new and rental equipment.
- Perform functional and pressure testing of completed assemblies in accordance with approved procedures.
- Identify damaged or worn components and report any technical or quality issues.
- Complete relevant workshop, inspection and test documentation accurately.
- Ensure tools and equipment are prepared and ready to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to support product improvements, testing and ongoing development.

Minimum Competency / Experience

- The right to work in the UK
- Mechanical or engineering background, ideally within the oil & gas, downhole tools or related industry.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance or servicing of equipment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of mechanical components, seals, fasteners and general workshop practices.
- Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment and workshop machinery.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
