We are seeking a Warehouse Associate & Driver to join our Operations team in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse functions, including receiving, packing, picking, and shipping orders, as well as completing local deliveries and pickups using a company-provided vehicle throughout Toronto, the GTA, Hamilton, Niagara, and surrounding areas.
This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a hands-on approach to maintaining efficient warehouse operations. You will split your time between warehouse responsibilities and driving, safely loading, transporting, and delivering products to customers and other locations as required. You will work closely with the broader Operations team to ensure orders and deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 annually.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following company standards, safety protocols, and proper material handling practices.
- Receive incoming deliveries, verify materials against accompanying paperwork, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship internal fulfilment (IF) orders, ensuring all outgoing shipments are properly documented and meet company standards.
- Tag skids and pallets with the appropriate IF or purchase order (PO) identifiers to support accurate tracking and inventory control.
- Maintain and organize parts inventory, including monitoring stock levels, completing regular counts, and ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Support an efficient warehouse layout by organizing materials, optimizing space utilization, and identifying opportunities to improve workflow and warehouse operations.
- Complete regular local deliveries and pickups using a company-provided cargo van throughout Toronto, the GTA, Hamilton, Niagara, and surrounding areas.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload HVAC equipment, parts, and materials, ensuring orders are accurate and products arrive in good condition.
- Collaborate with fellow Warehouse Associates at other locations, and other team members to support efficient day-to-day warehouse operations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- A high-school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five (3-5) years of hands-on experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with an ERP system (NetSuite) considered an asset.
- A valid forklift license, and previous experience with a forklift
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, procedures, and safe material-handling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- The physical ability to regularly bend, lift, crouch, kneel, sit for long periods of time (driving) and lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- A valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Previous professional delivery or commercial driving experience is strongly preferred
- The ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods throughout the workday
