About the Role:

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you are responsible for:

  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting motors, motor controls, VFDs, starters, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, and power distribution systems up to 480V.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and production machinery.
  • Diagnosing electrical malfunctions and completing repairs quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Using testing equipment such as multimeters, amp clamps, and megohmmeters to inspect and diagnose electrical systems.
  • Ensuring all work complies with NEC standards, company policies, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Maintaining maintenance records and documenting repairs and inspections.
  • Collaborating with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support plant operations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assisting with facility and building modifications as needed.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of industrial electrician or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures.
  • Experience working with 24V, AC/DC, 110V, and 480V systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance records and technical documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including heights, confined spaces, heat, dust, and noise.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing or concrete products manufacturing is preferred.
