At Salewa we are looking for a PR & Communications Senior Specialist who will support earned media visibility, brand storytelling, and cultural relevance across key markets.
Working closely with Marketing, Brand, Product, Digital and regional teams, this role supports the execution of PR and communications activities across product launches, brand campaigns, athlete and creator storytelling, events, media relations, and community activations.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Support the execution of global PR and communications strategies aligned with brand and commercial priorities
- Manage media relations including outreach to journalists, editors, creators and key opinion leaders across outdoor, sport, lifestyle and fashion media
- Coordinate seasonal PR activities including press releases, media kits, product seeding and campaign amplification, supporting product launches across key markets
- Support brand storytelling and narrative development across mountain sports, innovation, sustainability, athletes and community
- Ensure consistency of messaging and tone of voice in collaboration with Brand and Creative teams
- Support creation of press materials and campaign assets and help extend Salewa’s visibility beyond outdoor media into lifestyle and culture conversations
- Support communication activities related to athletes, creators and Salewa People
- Coordinate PR support for events, activations, partnerships and community experiences
- Manage product seeding processes with media and creators in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Monitor relevant trends, communities and cultural conversations
- Support coordination with regional PR agencies and local marketing teams on seasonal toolkits and communication priorities
- Support rollout of global communication assets and consolidate market feedback and coverage results
- Monitor media coverage and brand visibility and support reporting of PR performance
Profile
- 3–5+ years of experience in PR, Communications, Brand Marketing or Media Relations, preferably within outdoor, sporting goods, lifestyle, fashion or premium consumer brands
- Strong understanding of the global media landscape across outdoor, sport, fashion, lifestyle and digital culture
- Experience working with PR agencies, editors, creators, athletes or brand partners
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
- Passion for mountain and outdoor sports
- Very good English and German skills, Italian is a plus

Annual Gross Base Salary Range: 32.000€ - 45.000€ + additional target bonus of 5-10% of base salary
