Grant Administrator - Chemistry

Position Summary
Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Grant Administrator to join the Department of Chemistry. This individual will manage all pre-award functions for the department, including overall organization and submission of grant proposals. Identify grant opportunities, as well as research program guidelines, and fulfill all reporting requirements on awarded grants.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years relevant experience including grant budget development/grant writing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Experience:Experience in an academic or research environment. Pre-award and post award budgeting experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent writing, analytical, problem-solving skills, communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of NIH and NSF grant policies and guidelines. Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Knowledge of standard office software. Must be detail oriented.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,106.25 to USD $82,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
