Front of House and Administrative Supervisor, Iris Cantor Theatre

Position Summary
Supervise the logistical aspects of front of house and concession operations for the Iris Cantor Theatre (ICT) including, but not limited to, all general needs related to the lobby, seating area, concession sales, and other public assembly areas, and supervision of front of house and concessions staff. Oversee, and reconcile concessions and merchandise sales. Collaborate with the ICT Operations Manager to monitor and update digital signage in lobby areas. Supervise and coordinate receptions with high profile guests for the NYU Tisch & Steinhardt Schools, as well as third party rentals.Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree in theater, arts administration or related field. Required Experience:3+ years of related front of house of events management experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience supervising/scheduling staff for large events or projects. NYC Fire Guard certification. Preferred Experience:3+ years of events planning experience. CPR certification. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work independently and make informed, on-the-spot decisions, and resolve conflicts. Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on production schedule. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act compliance issues. Computer skills and ability to troubleshoot ticket scanner issues. Ability to create product budgets and inventory lists.Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $81,400.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
