About this role
Responsibilities
- Build demand for NXP offerings with existing and prospective automotive OEMs by engaging and influencing their end customers and ecosystem participants.
- Develop markets and influence automotive OEM customers.
- Identify new applications and new opportunities for existing applications and products/solutions within the region.
- Create an application-focused strategy for the area of responsibility, aligned with the Business Lines (BLs), and drive its execution within the region.
- Participate in application-specific standardization activities to ensure NXP’s technologies and positions are effectively represented and incorporated into industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for both new and existing solutions.
- Build strong relationships with local ecosystem stakeholders, including automotive OEMs, carriers, silicon influencers, and other industry participants. Influence their roadmaps and leverage partnerships, connections, and innovations to maximize NXP business opportunities.
- Influence local government policies and regulations relevant to NXP’s business objectives.
- Research industry trends, events, publications, and market developments; monitor key contributors and their achievements.
- Provide customer insights and market feedback to BLs to help shape solution roadmaps.
- Explore and establish potential partnerships to accelerate market development.
- Drive Business Line business development priorities.
- Collaborate with the CAS team to create CBG solutions.
- Work closely with BL R&D teams to define and influence solution architectures and product roadmaps.
- Manage BL business development priorities and coordinate with regional BD teams, as required, to drive market development initiatives.
- Explore potential partnerships to accelerate solution development.
- Evaluate potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, business potential, and financial viability; assess alternatives, resolve internal priorities, and recommend strategic equity investments where appropriate.
- Lead business opportunity validation and proposal development, creating detailed execution plans to address opportunities for NXP, including accurate and measurable revenue forecasts and ROI projections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in the semiconductor and/or automotive electronics industry, with strong knowledge of the automotive ecosystem. Demonstrated success in influencing automotive OEM and Tier 1 design decisions.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to combine technical expertise, marketing acumen, and business insight.
- An inspiring communicator capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and decisive, with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
