About this role
Operate Production Equipment
- Set up and operate machines according to work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance during production.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues.
Meet Production Targets
- Achieve daily production output and efficiency targets.
- Follow production schedules and priorities.
- Minimize downtime and material wastage.
Quality Control
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections.
- Ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Segregate and report defective products.
Material Handling
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure correct material usage according to production requirements.
- Maintain material traceability where applicable.
Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.
- Participate in safety trainings and activities.
Housekeeping (5S)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow 5S standards and workplace discipline.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
Documentation
- Complete production records, checklists, and reports accurately.
- Record output, downtime, defects, and machine abnormalities.
- Support traceability and audit requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and improvement activities.
- Suggest ideas to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Support problem-solving activities as required.
