We are seeking a motivated and talented Land Development Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to a wide variety of impactful site development projects.

Responsibilities

As a Land Development Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of commercial, residential, and institutional development projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on all phases of project development while collaborating with experienced professionals across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering plans, designs, and drawings for land development projects.
  • Perform site feasibility analyses, conceptual planning, and site layout design.
  • Develop grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.
  • Support project permitting activities and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct field investigations and site assessments as needed.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling.
  • Utilize Civil 3D, stormwater management software, and other engineering applications to produce project deliverables.
  • Participate in project quality control reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, and public agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of land development experience.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Strong understanding of site civil engineering principles and land development practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Experience with Bentley StormCAD or similar stormwater modeling software.
  • Familiarity with GIS applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with permitting processes and regulatory agency coordination.
