Nurtury is seeking an Assistant Regional Director to support the leadership and oversight of Nurtury’s regional Family Child Care (FCC) office in Boston. This role is responsible for helping ensure compliance with documentation, operational processes, state regulations, and data management within the regional office and will provide onsite coverage and support to the Regional Director, FCC as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide coverage for and support to the Regional Director as needed and assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Data integrity: oversee and ensure that data is being entered timely and correctly into all systems including parent fees and child attendance, identify errors found, and notify the appropriate staff for corrections. As required, verify that children, educator, and compliance files are complete and accurate with all required and up to date documentation. Manage EEC’s and outsourced agency audits for the regional office.
  • Parent Fee and Payroll: act as the primary EEC Secondary Approver for the regional office. Monitor parent fee balances and complete the monthly parent fee reconciliations and credits. Review and confirm that FCC Educator Payroll has been processed correctly before being submitted to finance.

You:

  • Have strong proficiency in Spanish / English bilingual literacy (required)
  • Have strong knowledge of EEC licensing and Child Care Financial Assistance regulations.
  • Have strong knowledge of Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related human services field preferred.
  • Have strong administrative, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Have reliable transportation (required), are flexible, collaborative, and willing to travel locally (required)
