📍 Location: Skelmanthorpe
💷 Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 FTE
🕘 Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week over 5 days

The Role:
As an Early Years Teacher at Nurtured Childcare, you will create inspirational learning opportunities that support children’s development through play, exploration, creativity and nurturing relationships.
You’ll lead engaging experiences including outdoor learning, creative arts, woodwork, music, cooking and exploring the wonders of the world.
You’ll work collaboratively with families and colleagues to provide high-quality care and education that supports every child to thrive emotionally, socially and academically.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and provide engaging, child-centred and inspirational learning opportunities.
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing, development and independence.
• Create inclusive learning environments that support children with SEND.
• Maintain accurate observations, assessments and records, identifying emerging needs early.
• Work closely with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Promote safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Support and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Lead by example and maintain high professional standards.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an inspirational Early Years Teacher who is creative, adaptable and passionate about providing meaningful learning experiences for young children.
Essential
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
• Minimum 2 years’ childcare experience, preferably within early years.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of quality teaching standards.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to think outside the box and adapt practice to meet individual needs and interests.
• A positive attitude and the ability to make children, families and colleagues smile each day.
• Passion for outdoor learning and creative approaches to teaching.
• Experience working within nurturing and inclusive early years environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to complete a full DBS check.
Desirable
• Full UK driving licence.
• Leadership experience.
• Previous Ofsted inspection experience.
