Position Scope
The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for a Warehouse Technician for our site in Geraldton, ON. Responsible for receiving and shipping operations, this role also arranges the the shipment of equipment and supplies to a variety of NUNA project sites.

Responsibilities
- Handle receiving and shipping operations, including arranging the shipment of equipment and necessary supplies to a variety of NUNA locations.
- Ensure warehouse is a safe work environment and all shipping and receiving processes and procedures meet safety standards and requirements.
- Oversee and manage the day to day warehouse activities within both shipping and receiving areas.
- Direct, coordinate and prioritize the overall activities to ensure the smooth flow of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Train, develop and coach the receiving and shipping staff.
- Lead effective solutions and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and the optimal performance targets are achieved.
- Monitor and maintain the work environment to ensure all health and safety related regulations are in compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years supervisory experience in a distribution setting or similar environment.
- Industrial construction and/or mining experience preferred.
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience relating to inventory management.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong problem solving skills and sound decision making abilities.
