As a high-energy Account Executive, you will work with existing clients to build long-lasting partnerships. With extensive knowledge and understanding of industry trends, you will communicate directly with clients, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Strong communicator and presenter with a positive and engaging personality with creative technical writing skills.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office and CRM software.
  • Identify strategic targets and set clear and compelling goals.
  • Highly organized, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to prioritize, meet deadlines and excel in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)

The Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of business experience with exposure to account management, sales and customer service fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related major a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel internationally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse

Things You Will be Doing

  • Accountable for owning the Client relationship on an overall organization performance level.
  • Provides a consultative approach with Clients to ensure we are meeting their business needs, growth plan and performance expectations.
  • Works with clients to develop and review transportation strategies including service levels, carrier selection, cost structures and performance metrics in partnership with internal transportation business development manager.
  • Provides information and initiates dialogue around how to increase organizational performance (CPU, outbound and inbound throughput, GOS).
  • Leads and facilitates the 90-day review process for new client onboardings, coordinating both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Educates Clients on NRI processes and offerings.
  • Works with Clients to manage and forecast their growth.
  • Communicates and explains rate increases to Clients.
  • Presents new services and offers to existing Clients that matches their business goals.
  • Continually invests in creating collaborative relationships with Client.
  • Works with senior management, operations, transportation, client services, sales and business development to recommend strategies, process improvements and efficiencies that will help our clients achieve their goals.
  • Conducts profitability analysis annually to ensure rates are fair to the Client and NRI.
  • Reviews all costs, processes and pricing by service.
  • Reviews Client growth needs and fit within the organizations.
  • Conducts scheduled reviews with all Clients.
