Position Summary
The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for supporting the warehouse by performing duties that are related to inventory and order fulfillment. They will also monitor reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. The will be responsible for reconciling discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of any irregularities.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3pm
Pay: $22-$24/hour DOE
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for inventory accuracy by SKU and location, mitigating loss and damage to inventory, and performing inventory transactions related to raw materials and finished goods.
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.
Supports month end and year end processes including all receipts, shipments, RMA’s transfers, and adjustments and ensures they are properly completed.
Assists with annual physical inventory.
Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operates a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Two or more years relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ERP systems.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary education desired in business management, accounting, or supply chain management.
Previous inventory control experience with emphasis in distribution or manufacturing environment.
