What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant at NMHSI, you'll be a key part of delivering excellent, patient-centered care. Your day-to -day work will include:
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
Assist Dentists and Hygienists during exams and treatments
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
Taking diagnostic x-rays and recording medical/dental histories
Educating patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
Maintain accurate patient records
Supporting scheduling and insurance processes
Helping ensure dental equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Patient-focused, compassionate approach to care
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based clinical setting
- Excellent communication and professionalism
