Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated professionals for the role of a Supply Chain Planning Specialists with experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing. The successful applicant(s) will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Sector supporting the MSTS Division in Baltimore, Maryland. This position can be hired at a level 2 or a level 3 (Principal).
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Management of on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule
- Management of material budgets for contract requirements. Supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
- Accurate reporting and forecasting of material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
- Execution of duties as CAM to support program PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities
- Identification and management of program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements
- Analysis of material lead times and identification critical path procurements
- Monitoring and addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues
- Supporting program proposal activities (BOE’s creation, CBOM review, etc)
- Supporting the development of supply chain strategies – including supplier development and supplier risk management, which may include development of secondary sources
- Coordination of program activities between various supply chain management functions including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers, etc

Basic Qualifications for the level 2:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of supply chain and/or material inventory management, shipping and logistics, or supplier management experience
- Program execution experience
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications for the level 2:
- Shop order launch experience
- Development/IRAD/CRAD program execution experience
- Software procurement experience
- Experience with ZRPIs, BOEs, and QUEST runs
- Non-MRP procurement experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with proposals
- Material CAM experience
Basic Qualifications for the level 3:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of supply chain and/or material inventory management, shipping and logistics, or supplier management experience
- Program execution experience
- US Citizenship
