RMR Winter 26/27 Rentals - Rentals Technician (Full-Time)

Job Summary

 

The rental technician /cashier will be responsible for daily operations of the Rental shop, fitting each guest properly for equipment and performing daily cash outs. This a customer facing role, focused on ensuring the guests receive a memorable experience getting set up with equipment for their ski/snowboard day! 

Essential Job Functions

 

• Maintain and prepare all equipment rentals following all applicable safety protocol

• Ensuring the guest accurately completes the rental forms

• Proper fitting of rental equipment for the guests’ skill level

• Rental sales and operation of the POS system

• Check rental equipment for damage when returned

• Maintain a clean and organized shop

• Daily cash outs

 

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Must be eligible to work in Canada – can provide work permit

• Customer service experience

• Cash handling skills

• English as a first language. Knowledge of second language is an asset

• Team oriented with a desire to contribute

• Passionate and knowledgeable about biking, skiing, snowboarding and related equipment

• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision

• General product knowledge

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

• Good - time management skills

• Excellent communication skills
