The Business Analyst-Security Operations will support the OSM team within Security Operations by documenting requirements, coordinating operational deliverables, improving reporting processes, and helping convert Security Operations data into actionable management insights.

The role will partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve clarity, consistency, and execution for Security Operations initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements for SecOps metrics, dashboards, workflow improvements, and governance routines.
  • Supporting OSM reporting packages, KPI / KRI tracking, action item follow-up, and recurring management updates.
  • Maintaining process documentation, meeting artifacts, intake trackers, and evidence packages for audit, exam, and leadership requests.
  • Partnering with technical teams to translate operational needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual reporting effort across Security Operations.
  • Coordinating across stakeholders to track dependencies, risks, decisions, and deliverables through completion.

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:

  • Prior experience as a business analyst, operations analyst, project analyst, or similar role in technology, cybersecurity, risk, or financial services.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex operational information for management audiences.
  • Working knowledge of requirements documentation, process mapping, KPI / metrics reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced operational environment.
