X-Ray Technologist – CT Cross-Training Opportunity
North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an ARRT-certified X-Ray Technologist interested in advancing their career through paid CT cross-training.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technologist who wants to gain CT experience, receive hands-on training from experienced CT technologists, and work toward CT certification while maintaining a full-time position.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
110 Mary Lou Drive Ste 10, Willow Park, TX 76087
No weekends
No on-call requirements
Closed major holidays with holiday pay
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning
- Learn CT workflow, patient care, and imaging protocols through structured training
- Develop proficiency in IV starts and contrast administration (where applicable)
- Work alongside experienced CT technologists and remote CT support staff
- Transition into increased CT responsibilities as training milestones are achieved
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Texas GMRT license required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Interest in obtaining CT certification and expanding imaging skills
- Previous CT experience is not required
