You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department
- Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment, systems, and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems
- Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist with assigning and prioritizing maintenance tasks for Engineering team members
- Monitor property conditions and identify repair or replacement needs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Support a safe work environment by following company policies and safety regulations
- Work closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance concerns
What we're looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, engineering, or hotel maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Pool Certification (CPO) preferred but not required
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance-related issues independently
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work orders
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling

Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.
