You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department
  • Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment, systems, and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems
  • Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with assigning and prioritizing maintenance tasks for Engineering team members
  • Monitor property conditions and identify repair or replacement needs
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Support a safe work environment by following company policies and safety regulations
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance concerns

What we're looking for:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, engineering, or hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance
  • Pool Certification (CPO) preferred but not required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance-related issues independently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work orders
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling

  • Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
  • Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors, and candidates for employment

Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.
