We are looking for a Parts Specialist to join our Parts team in Moncton.
Mission
Parts specialists ensure an adequate supply of parts. They monitor inventory, work with vendors to get correct parts, and help customers find necessary materials.
Main Responsibilities
• Prompt and accurate processing of parts orders; the customer asks us for the parts; we deliver the right order in time not to lose our customer and to increase the turnover
• High level of customer service on the Parts counter; keep good relations with our customers to do business with them, to make them come back to us more often and to give a good image of the company
• Physical inventory accuracy and daily cycle counts; updated all the time, it allows us to know quickly what we need for the parts and make the order, report to supervisor
• Answering phone with a high level of service and urgency; we answer the phone in order not to lose the orders of the customers, and to answer their needs
• Prompt ordering from vendors to fulfill customer orders; to help our customers,
• Filling and processing shipping and receiving documents; when sending the parts we always put comments in the system, which parts should be sent to the customer and when, we update the shipping department.
• Timely processing of returns and credits; verification of the parts received, to be sure that we have received everything.
• Proactive customer contact and telemarketing; customers calls for upselling parts they may need
• Seek out opportunities to increase part sales; give advice to make other changes of parts
• Backorder tracking and recovery; advise missing parts have been tracked in the system
• Ensuring a high level of support to the Service Department;
• Timely completion of duties as outlined by the Parts Supervisor
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Familiarize and comply with health and safety statutory requirements stipulated by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
